Andrew Weil, MDAndrew Weil, MD
A frequent lecturer and guest on talk shows, Andrew Weil is an internationally recognized expert on medicinal plants, alternative medicine and the reform of medical education. Dr. Weil received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1968. From 1971-75, as a Fellow of the Institute of Current World Affairs, Dr. Weil traveled in North and South America and Africa collecting information on drug use in other cultures, medicinal plants and alternative methods of treating disease. From 1971-84, he was on the research staff of the Harvard Botanical Museum and conducted investigations of medicinal and psychoactive plants. Dr. Weil is the Founding Director of the Program in Integrative at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine where he is also Clinical Professor of Medicine. He is a best-selling author of seven books, including most recently: Healthy Aging: A Lifelong Guide to Your Physical and Spiritual Well-Being, The Healthy Kitchen (with Rosie Daley), 8 Weeks to Optimum Health and Spontaneous Healing. Dr. Weil writes a monthly newsletter, maintains a popular website (drweil.com), and writes a monthly column for Prevention magazine. He also serves as the Director of Integrative Health and Healing at Miraval Resort in Arizona.

David Wallinga, MDDavid Wallinga, MD
Dr. Wallinga is a physician and Director of the Antibiotic Resistance Project at the Minneapolis-based Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP). He's a national expert in the use of antibiotics in animal agriculture, as well as in the regulation of pesticides and other environmental chemicals and their health impacts on children. Dr. Wallinga is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Princeton University and Dartmouth College. In addition to practicing medicine, he has worked as a consultant to the World Bank and the World Health Organization, and with the U.S. Agency for International Development. From 1996-2001, he was Senior Scientist in the Public Health program of the 500,000 member Natural Resources Defense Council. He is author of Putting Children First: Making Pesticide Levels in Food Safer for Infants & Children, co-author of several journal articles on pesticide regulation as it pertains to children's health, and a contributing author to In Harm's Way: Toxic Threats to Child Development.
